Uuuh.
Hi.
You're probably wondering why after going dark on here for over 5 years I'm now suddenly giving a little update. Well since I never actually officially stated this here and the fact I've been informed some people have been trying to claim ownership over one of my characters because I'm not around here anymore (kinda fucked up btw to try and do that), I figured now's as good as any time to make a statement.
So first up, I'm not dead; obviously. I just migrated over to twitter and tumblr some time in late 2018 and most of my active follower base (about like 11 people) all decided to start keeping up with me there.

I decided to stop using DA outright some time in early to late 2019 mostly because I wasn't really going anywhere on here. Since I was keeping up both a DA, Tumblr, and Twitter at the same time I just decided to put all my focus onto the others over here. Then Tumblr burned to the ground around late 2018 and I got a Newgrounds, so all of my current focus went more towards both that and the Twitter space, and I've only just slightly started branching out again in recent years.
The reason: Well DA's kind of a shit hole, and was slowly going down hill even back when I was still using it, and considering the amount of changes implemented and controversies the site has gotten itself into over the past couple years it would seem my pre-emptive jumping ship was the right decision.
Also for anyone curious the channel is in archive mode. Nothing was deleted, I just decided to archive everything for the time being back around the time I left in case I wanted to ever come back, as well as me not wanting to outright delete the account. However since DA's undergone so many changes over the years I'm not honestly sure I can even undo that so most of it's probably just locked away on some server somewhere, nor do I really care enough to try to change that at this point honestly.
Anyways that's me, I don't plan on using posting here again after this, but figured I should try to throw one last hail mary out into the abyss just incase there was anyone stumbling onto this page all these years later and wondering where I was. I'll see you over on Twitter or wherever I go if that place burns down like it's currently doing.

I Still Don't Know How to Write Journals
How have you been?:
Back in March, things seemed to be going pretty well. I was putting out a piece of art a week, and starting in February I had even started putting up 2 of Demon quest a week on top of that. So everything was pretty swell, until we hit April. I got up my TTGL 10th Anniversary pic, but I had to pull an all nighter the day before just to be able to get it out on time. So by that point I was, suffice to say, completely burnt out. So that began my slow decline in productivity, however that was not the end of it.
So besides the physical stress I was putting myself under, there has also been some the mental. Had a few issues with family this year. Dealing with one grandparent having alzheimer's and moving them into a new place, which has only really stressed them out and escalated their condition. Oh also had another grandparent go in to get a kidney removed, which is one of many surgeries for them in the past 10 years. Obviously this means my parents and I have been having to deal with lots of shit lately. So between not really feeling like drawing from burnout, and not having as much time to work on anything, been kind of a slow 9 months.
However, there has been some highlights. For instance, around the time I made my last update I had joined in on game of MASKS; a super hero themed role playing game run by
. Been enjoying that, playing as a the young little hero-to-be Katie Flynt. You can find images of her in my gallery, so for those of you who've been wondering who she is, there you go.
If you're interested in the game, *here's a link.*Also I have been saving up cash from commissions to afford some new equipment, furniture, a new laptop; you know just some stuff I've been needing. Trying to raise about $3000 USD to try and afford it (literally working on two collapsible picnic tables for a desk right now).
So far making good progress, and hopefully I'll reach the goal in a couple of months. That's really all that's new with me, so now let's move onto the stuff people might actually be interested in.
Demon Quest?:
Chapter 2 is about half posted, and I have a few more pages sketched out. Might not resume posting anything for that by years end, but look forward to updates somewhere in the near future. Still trying to settle on a new title and logo design which I'll be needing for future chapters, so as always if you have ANY suggestions please let me know. One of the biggest problems I've been facing this year in terms of Creative burnout has been I started drawing to improve, rather than to enjoy what i'm drawing, despite both things being naturally intertwined. So rather than focusing on trying to improve, I want to start just drawing and letting improvement happen naturally. It's something I'll have to remind myself of moving forward.
Animation:
Yeah, was starting to forget I wanted to learn animation. I've animated maybe 2 things this year total so starting to get a little rusty. I'm going to sit down and start making stuff in the new year, too difficult to sit down and plan too much stuff in the last 28 days of the year. If that goes anywhere, I'll let you know on...
SOCIAL MEDIA!:
... when I get around to making those. Yeah I had been kicking around the idea of getting a Twitter, which honestly only reason I don't have one now is I have nothing to really post on it. I'll find some excuse though, don't you worry. Was ALSO considering getting a Tumblr just because it seems the cool things everyone has nowadays. Also makes for another place to spread art around.
